How to update the Duet3D RepRapFirmware

Read the release notes first — firmware changes can require re-doing your config or calibration.
Use the project's own installer where it has one: a web flasher over USB, or an over-the-air update in its web UI.
Otherwise build or download the binary for your exact board from the releases page — the wrong board file will not boot.
Keep the previous firmware image and your config backed up so you can roll back.
